Zits creators publish their first illustrated young adult novel

From the creators of the beloved and popular ZITS comic strip comes ZITS: CHILLAX, an illustrated novel for teens featuring more than 300 illustrations.

When Jeremy Duncan and his best friend Hector are given tickets to their favorite band’s rock concert from their friend Tim, there are two problems standing in their way of enjoying their very first concert experience. First, they are not sure that their parents will even let them go! Secondly, Tim is selling the tickets because he has to donate bone marrow to his cancer-stricken mother. Being the sensitive and supportive friends they are, Jeremy and Hector decide to go to the Gingivitis concert with the plan to buy Tim an awesome, spirit-lifting concert souvenir. With the help of their high school history teacher, who just happens to work part-time at the concessions, Jeremy and Hector manage to get backstage. But, what can they get Tim from the concert that will be monumental enough to thank him as he recovers from his selfless procedure? For Jeremy and Hector, it will be a memorable night of setbacks, public humiliations, obscenely loud music and mind-blowing discoveries.
